People and their attitudes in business
An attitude is a feeling or opinion about something or someone. When it comes to attitude in business it is always expected to be very optimistic for any workplace environment to be pleasant. Attitude is infectious, which is why employers place high value on staff members who are very positive.
A CAN-D0 attitude for every task is often important for good cultural bonding.
WHY IS ATTITUDE IMPORTANT IN BUSINESS?
One of the most important points to be considered by a businessman is to be aware of their attitude and how it impacts workplace performance. Attitudes form from three components,
1) Affective(feelings)
2) behavioral and
3)Cognitive(belief and knowledge)
Mostly attitude is the evaluation of a person, an idea, or an object. It can be either favorable or unfavorable, pessimistic or optimistic.
The affective components of attitude,
Relates to the feelings and emotions of employees. the positive nature of an employee is likely to be addressed positively and the negative nature of course will be addressed negatively.
The cognitive component of attitude,
The beliefs and knowledge about someone or situations that shape attitudes.
for example, if you know babies cry when what they ask is not given, you adapt your attitude accordingly to your knowledge about them.
The behavioral component of attitude,
This component involves our actions towards a person or situation.
for example, if we have positive behavior at work and there is a positive environment we are more likely to behave in a productive manner.
Everything in a workplace mostly depends on attitudes.
According to the positive mental attitude philosophy, a positive mindset is synonymous with hope, optimism, courage, and kindness. A business attitude reflects feelings, beliefs, and values.
5 positive 'E' Attitudes one could inculcate,
1)Enthusiasm.
2)Efficiency.
3)Excellence.
4)Early.
5)Easy.
